Better Platform is now available on Microsoft AppSource to help healthcare organizations unlock their data

Better Platform is now available on Microsoft AppSource and Azure Marketplace. Better Platform is market-leading openEHR data platform designed to store, manage, query, retrieve and exchange structured electronic health record (EHR) data on a national, regional or institutional level in healthcare.

Tomaž Gornik, Better CEO said: “Today’s leading EHRs are locking data to applications which allows for only incremental improvements. Better offers a concept where applications, apps and algorithms are based on a vendor-neutral clinical data repository which provides a cradle-to-grave, longitudinal patient record and serves as a single source of truth. Partnering with Microsoft allows Better to expand globally and bring this concept closer to clients.

Microsoft AppSource, our single marketplace for Software-as-a-Service apps, helps businesses and other organizations easily find, evaluate, and acquire solutions that are critical for their success. At the same time, it provides our best partners truly global reach and unprecedented ability to showcase their apps to customers from various industries all over the world,“ said Barbara Domicelj, general manager of Microsoft Slovenia.Better Platform with its unique concept that separates data from application is a great addition to a growing selection of certified AppSource apps and I congratulate Better for this achievement. It is an important new step in our joint journey to help healthcare customers with modern e-health solutions.”

Microsoft and Better have already deployed the first public cloud e-health solution based on an open platform, securely managing health data for the entire population of Malta.
